The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duncan Scotland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tyler McCraw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon McChoiter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Scotland came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Scotland in the 69th minute of play. Pure dead brilliant team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
