To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Daniel McBaxter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No Pants FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Athletic Hearts the free kick. After 25 played minutes No Pants FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel McBaxter. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rob Pollard during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Athletic Hearts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Pollard to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Ahmet Erdem Aras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron McGrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Athletic Hearts's Callum Baxter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Athletic Hearts from getting a goal against them. Athletic Hearts were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing No Pants FC to leave the ground with a draw.
