In the 14th minute Ronnie Porter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon McChoiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Dempster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron McPhedran in the 20th minute. In the 20th match minute, Jaguar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Abbott to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Aaron McPhedran could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Joe Dempster however easily saved by the left post. If Gary Caddell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larry Forsyth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Pure dead brilliant team's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Forsyth came free, but Simon McChoiter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron McPhedrans short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Joe Dempster to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Liam Docherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pure dead brilliant team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguar FC the free kick. A collision led to Pure dead brilliant team getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Liam Docherty hit a great ball. Jaguar FC's Ronnie Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play, Jaguar FC's Ronnie Porter made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon McChoiter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron McPhedran struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Joe Dempster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pure dead brilliant team. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duncan Scotland to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron McPhedran in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joe Dempster saved Jaguar FC from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Jaguar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Scotland came free, but Joe Dempster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Pure dead brilliant team's Duncan Scotland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joe Dempster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 68th minute Aaron McPhedran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Dempster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Dempster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max McIvor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duncan Scotland during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raymond Abbott's late challenge caught a Pure dead brilliant team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Abbott helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Jaguar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Abbott to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Duncan Scotland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Duncan Scotland made a precise shot to the right of Joe Dempster. Jaguar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Simon McChoiter made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ronnie Porter sent off a good shot on target. Pure dead brilliant team's Simon McChoiter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Forsyth in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pure dead brilliant team fully deserved thier win.
