Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Norman McWalrick got the match started through his kick off. Ron McGrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman McWalrick in the 3rd minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylvain Holemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute Norman McWalrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron McGrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Norman McWalrick made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. No Pants FC's Ron McGrath tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18thth minute of the game Norman McWalrick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but No Pants FC's Ron McGrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of No Pants FC booed when Maccaulich FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard McGhie didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Maccaulich FC's goalkeeper Sylvain Holemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel McElfrish. Samuel McElfrish took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylvain Holemans. Sylvain Holemans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ron McGrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman McWalrick in the 33rd minute of the match. Sylvain Holemans was a little too slow when Jamie McTaggart got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-1. After 42 minutes No Pants FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malcolm Johnstone who took care of the corner kick. Ron McGrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman McWalrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Maccaulich FC's goalkeeper Sylvain Holemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lloyd Duncanson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamie McTaggart made a kick off. Sylvain Holemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Storie, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel McElfrish in the 56th minute of play forced Maccaulich FC's goalkeeper Sylvain Holemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jimmy Storie fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored No Pants FC's protests and gave Jimmy Storie a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maccaulich FC booed when No Pants FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Storie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terence McAuslan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ron McGrath. No Pants FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sylvain Holemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Duncanson in the 59th minute of the match. Lloyd Duncanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Holemans having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Norman McWalrick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but No Pants FC's Ron McGrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ron McGrath stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman McWalrick's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Samuel McElfrish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvain Holemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel McElfrish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norman McWalrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron McGrath having to interfere. With a little luck, No Pants FC's Ron McGrath got control of the ball when Derek Grewar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Norman McWalrick took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Ron McGrath to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute of the match Ben Munro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ron McGrath showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maccaulich FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for No Pants FC.
