The referee ignored Glasgow Rangers FC's protests and gave Jake McKintosh a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Erdem Aras in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Barns saved Glasgow Rangers FC from getting behind. After 13 played minutes Athletic Hearts got a freekick which was hit by Romão Leão. In the 16th match minute, Athletic Hearts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Pollard to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Barns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Erdem Aras, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Erdem Aras in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Barns saved Glasgow Rangers FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry Gilbert in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Callum Baxter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Callum Baxter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Gilbert's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's Barry Gilbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Callum Baxter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barry Gilbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Darius Robison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Hearts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darius Robison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Glasgow Rangers FC's protests and gave Guy McIan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy McIan to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Erdem Aras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Barns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barry Gilbert was the one to do the kick off. When Darius Robison fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Athletic Hearts's protests and gave Darius Robison a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Glasgow Rangers FC's Guy McIan got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Rory Lombard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur Barns skillfully saved the ball. Elliot Coulthart charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Coulthart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Elliot Coulthart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Glasgow Rangers FC defense, Ahmet Erdem Aras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Barns. The Glasgow Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Barns should have stopped the shot. Jake McKintosh got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st minute, Jake McKintosh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
