Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel McElfrish got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Daniel Colquhoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lochgelly's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Colquhoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ron McGrath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Samuel McElfrish left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The No Pants FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Shaun Porter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel McElfrish in the 9th minute of play. Ronan Mathie struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Shaun Porter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No Pants FC. Daniel McBaxter hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes No Pants FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Storie. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Ron McGrath successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lochgelly's Shaun Porter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel McElfrish in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Samuel McElfrish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shaun Porter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to Lochgelly getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eric Clements hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Roddie Niven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Porter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Archie Morris hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, No Pants FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel McElfrish to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Peter McCorkle with Samuel McElfrish as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, No Pants FC's Gregor McFeat got a free kick in the 45th minute. Samuel McElfrish struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Shaun Porter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No Pants FC. After the first half No Pants FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After 55 played minutes Lochgelly got a freekick which was hit by Martin Johnstone. After a rather tough play, No Pants FC's Stephen Dinnes got a free kick in the 56th minute. Daniel McBaxter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Porter having to interfere. Samuel McElfrish received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Shaun Porter came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuel McElfrish slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lochgelly's zone, Daniel McBaxter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaun Porter came out of the goal and Daniel McBaxter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shaun Porter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel McElfrish in the 80th minute. Will McKillop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ron McGrath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Samuel McElfrish managed to get in a good position for a shot.
