Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 13 minutes into the match, No Pants FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky McGillivour came free, but Ron McGrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron McGrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas McLerie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peter McCorkle fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored No Pants FC's protests and gave Peter McCorkle a yellow card for diving instead. Peter McCorkle kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Keith United's zone, Samuel McElfrish stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Broom came out of the goal and Samuel McElfrish tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of No Pants FC booed when Keith United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Ogilvie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Samuel McElfrish's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Broom was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ron McGrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Declan Ayres in the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Ronan Mathie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No Pants FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keith United the free kick. After 36 played minutes No Pants FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronan Mathie. Peter McCorkle hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Willie Frissell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ron McGrath. No Pants FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, No Pants FC's Archie Morris got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Willie Frissell, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No Pants FC's Ron McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky McGillivour in the 46th minute of play. Ronan Mathie hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel McElfrish stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Samuel McElfrish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Broom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rupert Ogilvie during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of No Pants FC booed when Keith United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Ogilvie didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, No Pants FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iain Broom came free, but Ron McGrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Keith United's Rupert Ogilvie got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to No Pants FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Peter McCorkle hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Daniel McBaxter managed to get in a good position for a shot. No Pants FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel McBaxter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Broom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Douglas Broom came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish. But to his dismay, Samuel McElfrish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, No Pants FC's Ron McGrath got control of the ball when Ricky McGillivour tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Willie Frissell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ron McGrath skillfully saved the ball. Roddie Niven hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Ricky McGillivour's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ron McGrath firmly grabbed it by the left post. No Pants FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Keith United for a fine match.
