Spectators: 8100 (Terracing: 6100, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Les Buntain took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the last second Sean McEoin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Harry McCaishe in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 5 minutes Stirling's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eddie McLaverty who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Auchterarder Raiders's corner Eddie McLaverty fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sean McEoin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Les Buntain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Auchterarder Raiders's Ben McCrae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Matt McCartney fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Auchterarder Raiders's protests and gave Matt McCartney a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Matt McCartney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregor McKichan's late challenge caught a Auchterarder Raiders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregor McKichan helped the player get up and apologised. Gregor McKichan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Harry McCaishe had several of the Stirling's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sean McEoin as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Stirling getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Harold Purcell hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, Auchterarder Raiders's Eddie McLaverty shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sean McEoin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Auchterarder Raiders reached it. Harry McCaishe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Sean McEoin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Harry McCaishe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sean McEoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Graeme McGaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean McEoin having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Les Buntain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gus McGaw kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry McCaishe was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Harry McCaishe notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stirling's Sean McEoin. Sean McEoin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Stirling defense, Harry McCaishe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sean McEoin. The Stirling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sean McEoin should have stopped the shot. If Harry McCaishe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Auchterarder Raiders booed when Stirling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Williamson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry McCaishe in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean McEoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ben McCrae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Les Buntain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Cullen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Buntain in the 71st minute of play forced Auchterarder Raiders's goalkeeper Ben McCrae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Harry McCaishe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean McEoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Auchterarder Raiders's Harry McCaishe in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stirling's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Stirling's zone, Harry McCaishe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sean McEoin came out of the goal and Harry McCaishe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barry CorMcK kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Stirling's Sean McEoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry McCaishe in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Stirling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gareth Hawes to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Robbie McCanish sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sean McEoin skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Auchterarder Raiders's Matt McCartney got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Auchterarder Raiders fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stirling had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
