Danny Baxter charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Perth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyler Graham should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cameron Gilfillan was the one to do the kick off.
