Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emilio Petricca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martin Villaba made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edmond Niven however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Petricca in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sean McEoin saved Stirling from getting behind. Edmond Niven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sean McEoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Emilio Petricca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sean McEoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 10 minutes, Quentin Meine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stirling and the grangemouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quentin Meine kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sean McEoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Petricca, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sean McEoin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Petricca went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Emilio Petricca scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sean McEoin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Petricca in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean McEoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Edmond Niven notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Stirling's Sean McEoin. Sean McEoin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pitt Frøne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Les Buntain, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the game, Edmond Niven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sean McEoin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sean McEoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Petricca in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of grangemouth booed when Stirling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Williamson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Petricca struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sean McEoin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for grangemouth. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The audience was convinced that Emilio Petricca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sean McEoin was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the game, Harold Purcell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stirling's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave grangemouth the free kick. Harold Purcell hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Graeme Souness didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Petricca in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean McEoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes Stirling got a freekick which was hit by Rory Williamson. 65 minutes into the match, Stirling's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Petricca came free, but Sean McEoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Stirling got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Meine. Edmond Niven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sean McEoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Benito Martínez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sean McEoin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Petricca's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Sean McEoin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmond Niven went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Pitt Frøne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Les Buntain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. grangemouth's Neil McLeverty quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sean McHardy, made in the 85th minute of the game. A collision led to Stirling getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Harold Purcell hit a great ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stirling's goalkeeper Sean McEoin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Edmond Niven fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sean McEoin, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmond Niven got free with Sean McEoin in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. grangemouth's Pitt Frøne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Williamson in the 94th minute of play. grangemouth's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
