Frank Allan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joshua Cumming went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 9 minutes of play, The North Face's Joshua Cumming made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Allan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Fair got free with Frank Allan in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute of the match The North Face got a corner. Greenock's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joe Reid ran over to the corner to take the kick. The North Face's Roy Fair was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frank Allan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joshua Cumming took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Allan. Frank Allan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Joshua Cumming had several of the Greenock's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Frank Allan as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Joshua Cumming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Joshua Cumming had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Allan. Greenock's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joshua Cumming was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 35th play minutes Joshua Cumming shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Frank Allan and just under the crossbar into goal. Frank Allan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Cumming in the 40th minute of the match. With his leg Frank Allan managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when The North Face's Joshua Cumming fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 minutes, Qiao Yue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The North Face and the Greenock players grew even worse after the yellow card. Qiao Yue kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Hutchinson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Joshua Cumming's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Allan was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
