Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lee Massey started the match with the kick off. Jay Duff hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Eric Buchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lee Massey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Wayne Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick McLennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The North Face's Patrick McLennan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Binnie in the 25th minute of play. Iain Lambie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Massey, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, The North Face's Sun Xing Jian got a free kick in the 35th minute. Patrick McLennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Binnie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Keith McNie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick McLennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, The North Face's goal looked a bit too open when Keith McNie came free, but Patrick McLennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Keith McNie got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Patrick McLennan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Wayne Pollard made the kick off in the second half. Freddie Vennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Finlay Gifford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick McLennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Finlay Gifford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick McLennan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keith McNie in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick McLennan saved The North Face from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Freddie Vennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, The North Face's Sun Xing Jian got a free kick in the 64th minute. Wayne Pollard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Patrick McLennan made a huge save. Patrick McLennan came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Inverness Warriors's Wayne Pollard. But to his dismay, Wayne Pollard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Inverness Warriors's Iain Lambie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Buchan in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes, Neil Howison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inverness Warriors and the The North Face players grew even worse after the yellow card. The North Face's Michael Duilach was substituted for Keith Brieve. After a rather tough play, Inverness Warriors's Neil Howison got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, The North Face's Lee Massey got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, The North Face's goal looked a bit too open when Keith McNie came free, but Patrick McLennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Jacob McKessock put in a rough tackle. After 81 played minutes The North Face got a freekick which was hit by Jacob McKessock. After having played for 82 minutes, Finlay Gifford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inverness Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Finlay Gifford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Binnie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, The North Face was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sun Xing Jian to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th match minute, The North Face was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Buchan to maneuver through the defense. Inverness Warriors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
