FC Clitasaurus's Lee Donillson got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Clitasaurus's Pasi Grönvall got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Sid Park. 8 minutes into the match, Douglas McTire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordan Robison. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas McTire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas McTire in the 14th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Jordan Robison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Douglas McTire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavião Kyikatejê's Jordan Robison was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas McTire came free, but Jordan Robison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas McTire in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordan Robison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jordan Robison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas McTire in the 26th minute of play. Pasi Grönvall took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordan Robison. Jordan Robison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 34 minutes into the game, FC Clitasaurus's Lee Donillson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jordan Robison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The FC Clitasaurus fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when FC Clitasaurus's Douglas McTire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Steven Mein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Calum Mitchell fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Clitasaurus's protests and gave Calum Mitchell a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas McTire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gavião Kyikatejê's Jordan Robison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the game, Douglas McTire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jordan Robison. Douglas McTire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 62nd match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Nelson to maneuver through the defense. Jason Clayton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve McWattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, FC Clitasaurus's Douglas McTire ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jordan Robison. Jordan Robison yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Richard McNeish's late challenge caught a FC Clitasaurus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard McNeish helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Richard McNeish hit a great ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Lee Donillson from a close distance when the talented Jordan Robison managed to make a qualified save. Gavião Kyikatejê's players were relieved. In the 84th minute, Pasi Grönvall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Clitasaurus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Douglas McTire managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Clitasaurus's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas McTire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordan Robison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Douglas McTire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Robison didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-9. When Douglas McTire came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FC Clitasaurus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas McTire couldn't finish the play. FC Clitasaurus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
