Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronaldo Mesquita kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, João Calçada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Domingos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Calçada in the 17th minute of the match. If João Calçada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Bento having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Quiraz FC got a freekick which was hit by Herberto Salgueiro. 32 minutes into the match, Quiraz FC's goalkeeper Pedro Bento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Vilanova. Ronaldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Bento having to interfere. Norberto Guarda hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, FC Smoby's Pedro Bento threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldo Mesquita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Mesquita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Bento. That made the score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

José Neto was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Cristóvão Camacho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristóvão Camacho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 60th minute, João Calçada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Ricardo Vilanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Vilanova in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Bento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Vilanova in the 82nd minute of play forced Quiraz FC's goalkeeper Pedro Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Vilanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Calçada took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Neto. José Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Pedro Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Mesquita in the 99th minute of the match.
