Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) SC Roucio's Sebastião Vieira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Sebastião Vieira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Malafaia. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 15th minute, Rui Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eusébio Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Joel Malafaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Macedo in the 45th minute of play forced SC Roucio's goalkeeper Inácio Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sálvio Prates kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inácio Andrade. That made the score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. The SC Roucio fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when SC Roucio's Sebastião Vieira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Vieira in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Malafaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Inácio Andrade made a huge save. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Roucio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Carvalheira was slow to take the kick. During this time Carnapete FC's players had a chance to rest. 69 minutes into the game, Sálvio Prates recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inácio Andrade. Sálvio Prates showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Eusébio Brás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Malafaia. Carnapete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Brás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Tavares in the 79th minute of play forced Carnapete FC's goalkeeper Joel Malafaia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilídio Modesto's late challenge caught a SC Roucio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilídio Modesto helped the player get up and apologised. Ilídio Modesto hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Alexandre Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SC Roucio fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when SC Roucio's Sebastião Vieira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SC Roucio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carnapete FC for a fine match.
