In the 22nd minute Adelino Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Rebocho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Cicchetti came out of the goal and Joaquim Rebelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Rebocho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Nascimento in the 40th minute of the match. The Futebol Clube Urqueira fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Futebol Clube Urqueira's Roberto Ávila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. André Rebocho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Dias in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 67th minute Daniel Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Rebocho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Rebocho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rui Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Roberto Ávila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andrea Cicchetti. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futebol Clube Urqueira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
