The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gueifão during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tristan Give managed to get in a good position for a shot. The jockers f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Veloso should have stopped the shot. If Caio Lessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio Lessa to strike the kick off in the second half. Tristan Give lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Lijo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty!
