After having played for 21 minutes, Manuel Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKADEMIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, AKADEMIK's Manuel Setúbal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Modesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. AKADEMIK's Joaquim Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Modesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Manuel Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Duarte Modesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKADEMIK. Joaquim Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Modesto having to interfere. After the first half AKADEMIK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, SC Fuzileiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Modesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Joaquim Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Modesto having to interfere. SC Fuzileiros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Manuel Setúbal scored to the left of an out of position Duarte Modesto, making the score, 0-2. If Manuel Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes SC Fuzileiros got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Durães. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Blanche Caffey managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKADEMIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Blanche Caffey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Modesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AKADEMIK made a substitution. 史瑜岩 replaced Manuel Setúbal. 史瑜岩 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Duarte Modesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, AKADEMIK's Lourenço Viana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Modesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, 史瑜岩 lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Duarte Modesto. 史瑜岩 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, 史瑜岩 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Modesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Duarte Modesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of SC Fuzileiros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AKADEMIK:s goal. In the 97th play minute 史瑜岩 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Duarte Modesto. 0-7. When the final whistle sounded AKADEMIK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Fuzileiros.
