With a little luck, bairro team's Júlio Domingos got control of the ball when Aristides Sequeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in bairro team's zone, Aristides Sequeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Domingos came out of the goal and Aristides Sequeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Boaventura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Vasco Boaventura fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júlio Domingos, passed just outside the right post. After 21 minutes, Gentil Veríssimo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bairro team and the PERFURADORES IMPLACÁVEIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, bairro team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentil Veríssimo to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Boaventura struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Júlio Domingos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PERFURADORES IMPLACÁVEIS. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Domingos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Sequeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Vasco Boaventura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Domingos was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, bairro team's José Prates sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Vito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If José Prates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Torcato Brochado made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Salvador Bandeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bairro team and the PERFURADORES IMPLACÁVEIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Salvador Bandeira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Vasco Boaventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PERFURADORES IMPLACÁVEIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Boaventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. bairro team's Júlio Domingos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Sequeira in the 57th minute of play. José Prates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Vito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, PERFURADORES IMPLACÁVEIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Santarém to maneuver through the defense. José Prates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tomás Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
