In the 6th minute, Matias Palhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Norberto Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Serpa during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Old School getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Manuel Serpa hit a great ball. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Old School! Moisés Mourão placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Artur Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Silvano Barroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Moisés Mourão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Barroso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Matias Palhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Old School's Silvano Barroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Jesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Barroso having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Old School's Porfírio Guerra got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Moisés Mourão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Nuno Corte-Real had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quebrada FC's Artur Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Old School's Nuno Corte-Real nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerónimo Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 64 minutes into the match, Quebrada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Corte-Real came free, but Jerónimo Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Old School's Silvano Barroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Old School from getting a goal against them. Artur Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Teófilo Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Palhares struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Silvano Barroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebrada FC. 83 minutes into the match, Old School's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Jesus came free, but Silvano Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Palhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Barroso having to interfere. Silvano Barroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Norberto Pereira took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerónimo Gonçalves. Jerónimo Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Old School's Norberto Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
