After a defensive mix-up in Carregais FC's zone, Alípio Quinaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Aleixo came out of the goal and Alípio Quinaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Franco took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício Gusmão. Fabrício Gusmão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Fresta's Eduardo Regueira got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Tomé Paião shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrício Gusmão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alípio Quinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Carregais FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Sardinha. Juvenal Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alípio Quinaz in the 76th minute of the match. Juvenal Aleixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alípio Quinaz's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Lázaro Ventura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carregais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fresta the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carregais FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
