Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cassiano Rodrigues made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to SC Nazare getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rúben Lessa hit a great ball. After 7 minutes, Jacob Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Nazare and the Flandes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacob Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Vivaldo Figueiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandrino Cunha having to interfere. A collision led to SC Nazare getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. André Conde hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Geraldo Zarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hélder Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Flandes's Leonardo Bandeira got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Hélder Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nazare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Geraldo Zarco took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Albérico Travassos to make any attempt to save it. Jacob Gomes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Albérico Travassos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cassiano Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albérico Travassos made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hélder Marinho sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Zarco in the 32nd minute of play forced Flandes's goalkeeper Albérico Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Zarco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Albérico Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Nazare's Hélder Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Flandes's Albérico Travassos got control of the ball when Hélder Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Geraldo Zarco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flandes's Albérico Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Marinho got free with Albérico Travassos in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geraldo Zarco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Albérico Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Marinho in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albérico Travassos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Geraldo Zarco made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassiano Rodrigues in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandrino Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Zarco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Flandes's zone, Hélder Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albérico Travassos came out of the goal and Hélder Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aloísio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Albérico Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Vivaldo Figueiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Figueiras during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Flandes got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Figueiras. If Geraldo Zarco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hélder Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Geraldo Zarco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Albérico Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 78 played minutes SC Nazare got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Silveira. Hélder Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Albérico Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Zarco in the 84th minute of play forced Flandes's goalkeeper Albérico Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albérico Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Zarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albérico Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Zarco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hélder Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albérico Travassos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Hélder Marinho sped through Flandes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albérico Travassos. There was no doubt that SC Nazare were the better team. SC Nazare's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
