Albertino Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Requiao FC got a freekick which was hit by Romão Mourato. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Borba in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. But to his dismay, Paulo Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Normando Dantas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Albertino Miranda to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute Mário Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Câmara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Rafael Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Requiao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Alcobertas the free kick. A collision led to Requiao FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rafael Santana hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Normando Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Pascoal Tristão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Requiao FC's Micael Câmara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Ramos in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Requiao FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Filipe Antas hit a great ball. SC Alcobertas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Leandro Silva scored to the left of an out of position Albertino Miranda, making the score, 2-3. Requiao FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SC Alcobertas's much stronger midfield.
