Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Quadros started the match with the kick off. Cândido Bentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Malafaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes Andorinho got a freekick which was hit by Mário Garcia. Cândido Bentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murilo Miranda went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Valério Madeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. sc santaclause's Ademar Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Madeira in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Valério Madeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute, Valério Madeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Amadeu Lamego came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Andorinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Lamego couldn't finish the play. If Murilo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Delfim Malafaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Malafaia in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Liberato during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Andorinho getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cássio Liberato hit a great ball. Paulino Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cândido Bentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ademar Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Liberato in the 60th minute of the match. Paulino Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ademar Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Bentes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Miranda in the 82nd minute of play forced Andorinho's goalkeeper Cândido Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Madeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ademar Valadares made a huge save. Cândido Bentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Malafaia in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Delfim Malafaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cândido Bentes. Andorinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Malafaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Andorinho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
