With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 5 minutes, Joaquim Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blind Team CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivo Gomes having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Carneiro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Gomes saved Mind FC from getting behind. Ivo Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ivo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Carneiro in the 17th minute of the match. José Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Lucena kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. José Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ivo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, José Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ivo Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an all-out effort, Blind Team CC's Ivo Gomes threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joaquim Carneiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 53 minutes, José Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blind Team CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Magalhães hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Mind FC's Ivo Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Mind FC from getting a goal against them. Ivo Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mind FC's Baltasar Lucena got a free kick in the 68th minute. José Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ivo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivo Gomes came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquim Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. When Isac Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mind FC's protests and gave Isac Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. José Freitas took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Gomes. Ivo Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If José Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ivo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Freitas in the 84th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Blind Team CC's Joaquim Carneiro in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ivo Gomes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mind FC through an amazing save. Blind Team CC's Diogo Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Mourato in the 92nd minute of play.
