In the 10thth minute of the game Amadeu Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futebol Clube Dream Team's Pascoal Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeu Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dércio Amado's late challenge caught a Almegue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dércio Amado helped the player get up and apologised. Sandro Borba made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Saúl Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Sandro Borba managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Futebol Clube Dream Team's Dércio Amado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th minute, Manuel Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascoal Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 29 minutes, Marco Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almegue and the Futebol Clube Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Futebol Clube Dream Team booed when Almegue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Alípio Gago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Borba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Amadeu Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saúl Alvarenga hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Amadeu Marques came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Almegue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Marques couldn't finish the play. Manuel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pascoal Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Amadeu Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almegue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 minutes of play, Futebol Clube Dream Team's Armindo Barroso made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Borba was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Caetano to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Almegue's Amadeu Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascoal Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If Amadeu Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Amadeu Marques took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Pascoal Bezerra to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Futebol Clube Dream Team's Pascoal Bezerra got control of the ball when Amadeu Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeu Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascoal Bezerra having to make a save. Pascoal Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Amadeu Marques sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pacheco came free, but Pascoal Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascoal Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Tomás França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Almegue's Marco Trindade seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marco Trindade the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Almegue protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marco Trindade had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Almegue's Marco Trindade got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Almegue's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Caetano came free, but Sandro Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Saúl Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Clube Dream Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. The Futebol Clube Dream Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Almegue were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
