Spectators: 6467 (Terracing: 4664, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vítor Trigueiro kicked off to start the match. The attack was good, but when Vítor Trigueiro in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Júlio Fagundes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herberto Resende. Capinha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquim Fagundes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Resende having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Júlio Fagundes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herberto Resende skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Santiago Matias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amílcar Jesus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Santiago Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Capinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Palhares. Vítor Trigueiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Herberto Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Capinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Fagundes came free, but Herberto Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Fagundes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Severino Madeira made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Fagundes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Resende having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Capinha FC's Carlos Raminhos got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Vítor Trigueiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herberto Resende came out and tried to block the shot, but Vítor Trigueiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pegasus FC's Vítor Trigueiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herberto Resende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquim Fagundes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Resende having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Vítor Trigueiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capinha FC's Herberto Resende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Vítor Trigueiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílcar Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Madeira in the 96th minute of the match. Pegasus FC played a much better game than Capinha FC and deserved their victory. The Capinha FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
