José Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Fernandes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Andrade in the 21st minute of play forced SC Rocheira's goalkeeper José Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Avelino Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portelo's Rodrigo Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Fernandes in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Andrade in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute of the match Hugo Viegas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigo Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Avelino Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Portelo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! 45 minutes into the match, Julião Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Reis. Portelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julião Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell António Andrade to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game António Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Rocheira's José Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. José Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Malta charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Malta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes SC Rocheira got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Malta. 62 minutes into the match, SC Rocheira's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Rodrigues came free, but José Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Andrade in the 66th minute of the match. Rodrigo Reis was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Diego Anjos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diego Anjos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a rather tough play, SC Rocheira's Ademar Quirino got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gonçalo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Andrade in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Portelo's Bento Rodrigues got a free kick in the 85th minute. With an all-out effort, SC Rocheira's Rodrigo Reis threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Anjos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diego Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Reis having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, António Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rocheira the free kick. António Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
