Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) When Pedro Melo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Lithium FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Melo couldn't finish the play. The Lithium FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Lithium FC's Daniel Campos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Lithium FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Delfim Lopes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Melo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Semedo saved Cotrofe FC from getting behind. In the 11th minute Pedro Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Semedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Óscar Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lithium FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Moniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Semedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cotrofe FC's Almiro Peseiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Celso Semedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Amaro went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Eurico Ponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Semedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cotrofe FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valdemar Azeredo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Mota in the 36th minute of play forced Cotrofe FC's goalkeeper Celso Semedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Semedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Celso Semedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Melo in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Lithium FC booed when Cotrofe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Azeredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Pedro Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cotrofe FC's Celso Semedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Pedro Melo made a precise shot to the right of Celso Semedo. Cotrofe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Lithium FC's Daniel Campos made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Semedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Mota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Semedo having to make a save. In the 59th minute Pedro Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Semedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lithium FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Cotrofe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Óscar Moniz took the corner. Lithium FC's Pedro Melo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celso Semedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eurico Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Pedro Melo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celso Semedo. Pedro Melo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After a rather tough play, Cotrofe FC's Valdemar Azeredo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Daniel Campos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Semedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. With a little luck, Cotrofe FC's Celso Semedo got control of the ball when Daniel Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Semedo having to interfere. Celso Semedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Melo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 85 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cotrofe FC's zone, Daniel Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Semedo came out of the goal and Daniel Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Semedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Campos in the 91st minute. Celso Semedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Melo in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Cotrofe FC's Celso Semedo got control of the ball when Manuel Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Eurico Ponte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotrofe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lithium FC the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Lithium FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cotrofe FC.
