In the 7th minute, Isidro lacerda made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Torres. Dragões FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hans Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfírio Gaspar having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Dragões FC's Ahmet Bülent Tolay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porfírio Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Ahmet Bülent Tolay notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Strong United FC's Porfírio Gaspar. Porfírio Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Ahmet Bülent Tolay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strong United FC's Porfírio Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfírio Gaspar having to interfere. Porfírio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Bülent Tolay in the 32nd minute of the match. Mário Dantas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alberto Torres right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões FC's zone, Isidro lacerda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Torres came out of the goal and Isidro lacerda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 52nd minute, Ahmet Bülent Tolay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porfírio Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Mário Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Strong United FC's Isidro lacerda got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Bülent Tolay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porfírio Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ahmet Bülent Tolay sent off a good shot on target. When Ahmet Bülent Tolay came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Dragões FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Bülent Tolay couldn't finish the play. Isidro lacerda kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Ahmet Bülent Tolay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Ahmet Bülent Tolay sped through Strong United FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Porfírio Gaspar. The Dragões FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dragões FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
