Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Monchite FC's Torcato Lobato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Madeira having to interfere. Fabrício Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Domingues having to interfere. Lissabon FC's Marco Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torcato Lobato in the 10th minute of play. Torcato Lobato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Domingues having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Jacinto Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estevão Madeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Dias's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Lissabon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vítor Bessa in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on Lissabon FC's corner Vítor Bessa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Estevão Madeira quite easily take care of the ball. If Torcato Lobato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jacinto Henriques hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Fernando Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lissabon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Viegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estevão Madeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Monchite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Henriques came free, but Estevão Madeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Dias in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Estevão Madeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Estevão Madeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fernando Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Afonso Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lissabon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Lissabon FC booed when Monchite FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Moita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lissabon FC's zone, Torcato Lobato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Domingues came out of the goal and Torcato Lobato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
