Basílio Leite hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a little luck, VuNeCu's Omar Llopiz got control of the ball when Basílio Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Llopiz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Anjo Mortal's Basílio Leite. But to his dismay, Basílio Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Garcia got free with Omar Llopiz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Basílio Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Llopiz. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. A collision led to Anjo Mortal getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. João Domingues hit a great ball. Tomás Macedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Torres. Anjo Mortal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Omar Llopiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Leite in the 36th minute of play. VuNeCu's Omar Llopiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Leite in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Basílio Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Llopiz, 3-0. VuNeCu's Omar Llopiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save VuNeCu from getting a goal against them. VuNeCu's Marco Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Oğuz Atacan to strike the kick off in the second half. Basílio Leite took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Llopiz. Omar Llopiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Omar Llopiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Pinheiro went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Omar Llopiz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Anjo Mortal's Américo Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Américo Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 77th minute Basílio Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Llopiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind VuNeCu's goalkeeper Omar Llopiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Américo Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Llopiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Anjo Mortal's José Assis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Llopiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. VuNeCu's Omar Llopiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Garcia in the 85th minute of play. Omar Llopiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Américo Pinheiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Omar Llopiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Assis in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Anjo Mortal's Bruno Ferro got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Andrey Drenkov kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Anjo Mortal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
