After a rather tough play, SC Carrinhos's Fabiano Veiga got a free kick in the 32nd minute. SC Bolelo's Nuno Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Bernardes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Mansilha in the 41st minute. Nuno Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Bernardes having to make a save. Damião Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Noel Mansilha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bolelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Mansilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Bernardes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Tarcísio Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adão Espinosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tarcísio Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Veiga got free with Adão Espinosa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damião Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Noel Mansilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th match minute, SC Bolelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Mansilha to maneuver through the defense. Adão Espinosa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The supporters of SC Carrinhos booed when SC Bolelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Mansilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Bernardes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damião Leite in the 89th minute of play. Although SC Bolelo had been in control for most of the match, SC Carrinhos still came away with the win.
