Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeferino França got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, S.L.Eiras's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Marques came free, but Gabriel Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Festas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. António Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Manuel Mansilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Frazoes booed when S.L.Eiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Mansilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeferino França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Henriques having to interfere. Gabriel Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Marques in the 38th minute of the match. António Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Festas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Festas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Henriques having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in S.L.Eiras's zone, Rui Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Arias came out of the goal and Rui Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Marques made a kick off. When Zeferino França came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the S.L.Eiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeferino França couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Zeferino França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdemar Festas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Henriques having to interfere. A hard shot 59 in the game by Zeferino França from a close distance when the talented António Henriques managed to make a qualified save. Frazoes's players were relieved. 63 minutes into the match, Frazoes's goalkeeper António Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeferino França. Gabriel Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Frazoes's António Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Festas in the 66th minute of play. Valdemar Festas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Frazoes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tarcísio Queiroga was slow to take the kick. During this time S.L.Eiras's players had a chance to rest. When the match was over S.L.Eiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frazoes throughout the match.
