Silvério Viegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simão Domingues. Chaveiral FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The long shot by Eduardo Gaspar in the 11th minute really tested Gabriel Matias's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gabriel Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Eliazar in the 14th minute of play. Iwan Labas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Gabriel Matias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Mário Pinhal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Parente in the 22nd minute of play forced Chaveiral FC's goalkeeper Simão Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaveiral FC's Simão Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel lacerda in the 43rd minute of play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Iwan Laba from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Matias managed to make a qualified save. Sainde's players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Candal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Cabral hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cândido Linhares came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simão Domingues could save by the left post. In the 58th match minute, Chaveiral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Pinho to maneuver through the defense. If Francisco Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Francisco Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gabriel Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Laba in the 70th minute of play forced Sainde's goalkeeper Gabriel Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sainde's Gabriel Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Magalhães in the 72nd minute of play. Gabriel Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Francisco Pinho took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Matias. Gabriel Matias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 86th minute Chaveiral FC were awarded a corner. Francisco Pinho went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Chaveiral FC's corner Francisco Pinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Matias quite easily take care of the ball. Jaime Candal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 90 minutes into the match, Sainde's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Laba came free, but Gabriel Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chaveiral FC fully deserved thier win.
