Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bruscos's Aldo Paredes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Eliseu Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruscos and the GDEAREENSES players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Bruscos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Maciel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Hugo Vilalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot. GDEAREENSES's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Vilalobos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, GDEAREENSES's Igor Gentil seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Igor Gentil the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GDEAREENSES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Igor Gentil had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GDEAREENSES! Timóteo Cavaco went to the wrong direction when Lourenço Paredes was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Miguel Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Laureano Regalado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruscos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Regalado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Regalados short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Timóteo Cavaco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Paredes in the 30th minute of play forced GDEAREENSES's goalkeeper Timóteo Cavaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Aldo Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Cavaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruscos's Laureano Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of GDEAREENSES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruscos:s goal. The referee gave Bruscos a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lourenço Paredes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GDEAREENSES's Timóteo Cavaco. 1-0. When Bruscos's Aldo Paredes in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GDEAREENSES's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Regalado got free with Timóteo Cavaco in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Caeiro was the one to do the kick off. Timóteo Cavaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Paredes in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Adélio Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GDEAREENSES and the Bruscos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Bruscos a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lourenço Paredes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GDEAREENSES's Timóteo Cavaco. 2-0. Laureano Regalado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Aldo Paredes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timóteo Cavaco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of GDEAREENSES booed when Bruscos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. GDEAREENSES's Miguel Caeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Vilalobos charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Vilalobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, GDEAREENSES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Vilalobos to maneuver through the defense. Bruscos's Lourenço Paredes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GDEAREENSES. Aldo Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aldo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Laureano Regalado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, José Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GDEAREENSES's Timóteo Cavaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Maciel in the 90th minute of play. Aldo Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruscos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GDEAREENSES for a fine match.
