Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Gueifão kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Baiao's goal looked a bit too open when Veríssimo Vilanova came free, but Óscar Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Óscar Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Tristão in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Fernando Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baiao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Gueifão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Manuel Tristão came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Cambelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Tristão couldn't finish the play. Adélio Regueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Gueifão in the 34th minute. Baiao's Fernando Gueifão got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Gueifão got free with Adélio Regueira in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manuel Tristão made the kick off in the second half. Óscar Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Tristão in the 54th minute of the match. Veríssimo Vilanova struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Óscar Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cambelas. Adélio Regueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cambelas's Adélio Regueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Costa in the 87th minute of play. When Manuel Tristão came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SC Cambelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Tristão couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Baiao's Óscar Neves got control of the ball when Veríssimo Vilanova tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amílcar Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Manuel Tristão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Baiao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
