In the 29th minute, 谢岚瑜 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Espalhafatos FC booed when Macoida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Macoida FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Espalhafatos FC:s goal. Olavo Fraga had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping André Dias's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Macoida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

谢岚瑜 made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 53rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Olavo Fraga would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Luís Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Olavo Fraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Luís Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espalhafatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Fraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Baião in the 64th minute of the match. Porfírio Prada kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Macoida FC's zone, Alexandre Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Fraga came out of the goal and Alexandre Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olavo Fraga came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 74th minute. A collision led to Espalhafatos FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. David Galsino hit a great ball. Bento Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Furtado in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Ramiro Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ramiro Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Macoida FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Espalhafatos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
