Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandrino Leite started the match with the kick off. Zeferino Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gastão Figueiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Alcides Mourão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bailao's supporters rose to their feet, but Alcides Mourão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfeicao's goalkeeper Luís Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alípio Torcato kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Bailao's Alípio Torcato got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gastão Figueiras struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Miguel Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfeicao. Manuel Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, SC Bailao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Castro to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gastão Figueiras to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Bailao's Cândido Sardinha got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Altino Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Bragança fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Santos having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Alfeicao got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Bacelar. In the 71st minute, SC Bailao's Manuel Amaro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Amaro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Bailao protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Amaro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Bailao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Alfeicao a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lázaro Valente, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Bailao's Miguel Santos. 1-0. When Alcides Mourão came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SC Bailao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alcides Mourão couldn't finish the play. Luís Silva made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Alcides Mourão sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Gastão Figueiras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Santos. SC Bailao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gastão Figueiras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Gastão Figueiras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Santos was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. João Casado hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Leandro Bacelar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Alfeicao's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
