Miguel Santos came out of the goal and Júlio Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Santos having to interfere. SC Bailao's Miguel Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Carneiro in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th match minute, SC Bailao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Torcato to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Rui Assis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abotega fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Abotega walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
