Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rubim Ferro made the kick off and thus started the match. When Rubim Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Parchal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubim Ferro couldn't finish the play. SC Rendufinho's Alexandre Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save SC Rendufinho from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Parchal booed when SC Rendufinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubim Ferro in the 12th minute. Lúcio Perdigão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Cristiano Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Perdigão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Filipe Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Perdigão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Silva in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Filipe Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Perdigão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Cláudio Henriques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lúcio Perdigão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Rubim Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parchal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Neto was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubim Ferro in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Delgado saved SC Rendufinho from getting behind. Rubim Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Perdigão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Henriques in the 62nd minute. Parchal's Rubim Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Varela struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alexandre Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parchal. In the 75th minute Rubim Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Osvaldo Vital mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parchal and the SC Rendufinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Parchal getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Osvaldo Vital hit a great ball. Francisco Varela struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alexandre Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parchal. If Francisco Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Parchal manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SC Rendufinho to win.
