In the 8th minute Gaspar Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Quintas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexandre Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Costa in the 12th minute of play forced Mortena's goalkeeper Francisco Quintas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilídio Espírito Santo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mortena booed when Poka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mortena fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poka FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
