The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Moutinho took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Madureira. Xavier Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31stth minute of the game Gastão Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Oliveiras's Xavier Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xavier Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gastão Garcia in the 43rd minute of play. Xavier Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gastão Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Raminhos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Antas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Catarino Vidigal's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 65th match minute, Albernoa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Catarino Vidigal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Antas having to interfere.
