The wind increased when Aldaír Teles made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Glory Football Club's zone, Júlio Taborda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Sanches came out of the goal and Júlio Taborda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Águas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Taborda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vasco Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Nogueira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jaime Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Jaime Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júlio Taborda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Sanches having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Aldaír Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Glory Football Club could leave the field as winners, despite Abadessa having more of the ball for most of the match.
