Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Pacheco started the match with the kick off. Celas FC's Lourenço Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Pacheco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Aguiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Monfirre's Diamantino Aguiar got control of the ball when Lourenço Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Carvalho in the 15th minute of play forced Celas FC's goalkeeper André Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Celas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Carvalho came free, but André Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Pacheco in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Monfirre getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eusébio Nunes hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Celas FC's Marco Pacheco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diamantino Aguiar. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Paulo Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Pacheco might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Pacheco ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Monfirre's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Pacheco came free, but Diamantino Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eusébio Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Celas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Carvalho came free, but André Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lourenço Vale in the 46th minute. Monfirre's Diamantino Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Monfirre from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Carvalho made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, André Coelho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th match minute, Celas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Luz to maneuver through the defense. Lourenço Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Diamantino Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 68th minute Paulo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Carvalho in the 69th minute of play forced Celas FC's goalkeeper André Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Celas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Augusto Sá hit a great ball. André Coelho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Catarino Dias. In the 75th match minute, Celas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Lourenço Vale made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Aguiar. Monfirre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Pacheco during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Celas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Celas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
