Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Allan Hydén took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcelona's goalkeeper David Sardinha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Barcelona's David Sardinha got control of the ball when Allan Hydén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Hydén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. David Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Castainco's Amílcar Matias got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Allan Hydén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. David Sardinha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusébio Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. David Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Allan Hydén got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Afonso Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Espinosa in the 27th minute of play. Allan Hydén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Sardinha having to make a save. Eusébio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusébio Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Sardinha having to interfere. Afonso Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Espinosa in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Castainco getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Amílcar Matias hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Ferro came free, but David Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caio Espinosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Allan Hydén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. David Sardinha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64thth minute of the game Eusébio Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona's David Sardinha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusébio Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Sardinha having to interfere. In the 74th minute Allan Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sardinha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Lustosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Andrade having to interfere. If Caio Espinosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Sardinha came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Castainco's Eusébio Ferro. But to his dismay, Eusébio Ferro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona's zone, Eusébio Ferro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Sardinha came out of the goal and Eusébio Ferro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Allan Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castainco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
