Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Patrício Pimenta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Adolfo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Lisandro Rebocho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Caneira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Luz in the 8th minute of play. Adolfo Luz took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Caneira. Ricardo Caneira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adolfo Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Caneira having to interfere. Gustavo Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Luz in the 23rd minute of play forced Covancas's goalkeeper Ricardo Caneira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Truejak FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrício Pimenta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Caneira was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Adolfo Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Caneira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrício Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gustavo Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Rafael Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Truejak FC and the Covancas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Truejak FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Dias to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Truejak FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eusébio Ferro made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Caneira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Ferro went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Patrício Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Américo Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Galvão struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gustavo Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covancas. Adolfo Luzs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ricardo Caneira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Patrício Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Matias having to interfere. Covancas's Ricardo Caneira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Covancas from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Patrício Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Covancas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrício Pimenta couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Covancas's João Veiga got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Truejak FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Truejak FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
