After 16 minutes, Diamantino Bessa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Foitos FC and the Ardido players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Faro in the 21st minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Fontes during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Faro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ardido's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariano Faro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carlos Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Pinheiro in the 52nd minute of the match. Américo Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ardido's Carlos Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ardido from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Ardido's goalkeeper Carlos Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Pinheiro. Mariano Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Luz having to interfere. Carlos Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Faro in the 75th minute of play. If Américo Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Américo Pinheiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Luz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Américo Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foitos FC. Américo Pinheiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 93rd playminute.
