The supporters of Romanga FC booed when PeixariaDaEsquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Telinhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Frois got free with David Campos in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Frois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but David Campos made a huge save. After a rather tough play, PeixariaDaEsquina's Raul Frois got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, David Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Taveira in the 30th minute. Zarco Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With his leg David Campos managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when PeixariaDaEsquina's Raul Frois fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raul Frois who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of David Campos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Frois in the 40th minute of the match. Raul Frois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, PeixariaDaEsquina's Raul Frois sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Campos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Romanga FC's zone, Afonso Taveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Campos came out of the goal and Afonso Taveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Raul Frois made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Romanga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Frois came free, but David Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gabriel Gago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Campos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Gabriel Gago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Campos came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by PeixariaDaEsquina's Raul Frois. But to his dismay, Raul Frois quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zarco Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to PeixariaDaEsquina getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Afonso Taveira hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, PeixariaDaEsquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lin Lin Zhen to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Hipólito Cruz in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Romanga FC's Lilian Iacob. In the 78th minute, Afonso Taveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PeixariaDaEsquina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Afonso Taveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. David Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romanga FC's David Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Frois in the 88th minute of play.
