Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isidro Póvoas got the match started through his kick off. Isidro Póvoas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Isidro Póvoas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Póvoas in the 13th minute of the match. Armando Vigário came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basílio Luz could save by the left post. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joki FC's goalkeeper Basílio Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lama's zone, João Curado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Eiró came out of the goal and João Curado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basílio Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Vigário went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Varanda during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Aristides Varanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Lama's Isidro Póvoas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basílio Luz. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Isidro Póvoas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Luz having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Joki FC's goalkeeper Basílio Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Vigário. When Lama's Isidro Póvoas in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joki FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Armando Vigário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Póvoas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Curado was the one to do the kick off. Isidro Póvoas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basílio Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Eanes in the 57th minute of the match. Basílio Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Póvoas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Joki FC's zone, Armando Vigário stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Luz came out of the goal and Armando Vigário tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Joki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Vigário came free, but Basílio Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Joki FC's João Curado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Eiró made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 69th minute, Armando Vigário got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidro Póvoas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Valério Eanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Caetano Vilarinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Vilarinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Joki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Vilarinho came free, but Basílio Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joki FC's Paulino lacerda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dércio Câmara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basílio Luz. Joki FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidro Póvoas might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basílio Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Póvoas ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Vigário sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th play minute João Curado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Simão Eiró. 2-2. Lama were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
